Why Cancer Research
A message from Sasha
“Every family has been affected by Cancer. Every family has to cope with its devastating effects. Like you, my family has been affected. Like you, it continues to affect my family and friends. Like you, this illness scares me and like you I would do anything to stop it in its tracks.
I have been inspired to organise A Day of Smiles by my amazing friend Sharon and her family. Like so many, Sharon fought to have her 3 beautiful children. We were all devastated by the news when Sharon was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 39, when her twins were just 3 months old. Sharon and her family continue to inspire all that know them as they manage Sharon’s treatment, whilst continuing family life. A Day of Smiles is dedicated to Sharon and her family and all those affected by Cancer.”
